NACTVET Conducts Inspection at DMTA, Commends Readiness for Maritime Training

Officials from the National Council for Technical and Vocational Education and Training (NACTVET) recently conducted an official inspection visit to Dar es Salaam Maritime Training Academy (DMTA) to assess the institution’s preparedness for the commencement of maritime training programs in Tanzania.

The inspection team reviewed several key areas including training facilities, classrooms, learning resources, safety equipment, and administrative systems that support technical and vocational education delivery. The purpose of the visit was to verify that the academy meets the national standards required for institutions offering professional training programs.

During the inspection, the NACTVET officials expressed strong satisfaction with the level of preparation demonstrated by DMTA.
